A NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT

On behalf of the Executive Committee and all our members of Persatuan Usahawan Logistik Semenanjung Malaysia, we are proud to announce the launch of the official PULSE website (pulsemalaysia.org). The venture and highlight of this website is to promote the organisation and have an inclusive, integrated and interactive online platform for our members to expand their respective business and align themselves to be competitive in this challenging and dynamic industry.

PULSE is moving into its 7th year since the inception of the organisation and despite the many adversities we have been able to engage various government agencies and affiliated associations to address problems faced by the SME (Small & Medium Enterprise) logistics industry and provide viable solutions for improvements.

The idea of starting the PULSE website was formalised after various requirements within our own business experiences were highlighted. The need to compete in a challenging industry along with securing trustworthy clientele requires acumen from a group of individuals affiliated in this business. This in turn will require a network for connectivity to consolidate zonal information and distribute logistic possibilities within the group. We believe it is a time for transporters and business owners from the SME Logistics industry to rise with the changes in our country. We also need to be well connected and be a logistic partner with the relevant government agencies and regulatory association to insulate ourselves as a formidable group of business owners who are ready to grow in line with industry expansion.

As such our website, namely Pulsemalaysia.org provides our members and personnel within the logistics industry a simple, user friendly and trustworthy logistic information centre experience. Pulsemalaysia.org. aims to be an interactive member inclusive site by which the primary focus will be on inter logistic SME growth.

Along with the trust and efficiency within our respective companies, we want promote consumer satisfaction, legality issues and compliance to industry rules, due diligence in administrative operations and advisory assistance to our members so that they can provide the best services to their customers. With this additional tool to the trade, PULSE is determined via Pulsemalaysia.org to alleviate our members to greater heights in their pursuit to succeed. Thank you all for celebrating the occasion and I hope PULSE members will successfully travel in this growing industry.
